By adding Genesis to your Discord server, you agree to these terms.
What Genesis is
Genesis is a Discord bot that builds channel and role structures in your server. It operates through Discord's bot API. By adding Genesis, you also agree to Discord's Terms of Service.
Genesis creates, modifies, and organizes server structure - channels, categories, roles, and AutoMod rules - using the permissions you grant at installation. It does not read or store message content.
Acceptable use
You may use Genesis for any lawful purpose, subject to Discord's guidelines. You may not:
- Use Genesis in ways that violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
- Use Genesis to harass, abuse, or harm other users or communities
- Attempt to exploit Genesis commands to circumvent server permissions or access controls
- Automate Genesis commands in ways that conflict with Discord's API policies or rate limits
Limitations
Genesis is provided as-is, with no guarantees of uptime, availability, or fitness for any particular purpose.
Data retention is governed by the Privacy Policy. All stored data is deleted when Genesis is removed from your server.
We are not liable for any consequences arising from the use of Genesis, including changes to server structure made by Genesis commands.
Termination
We reserve the right to remove Genesis from any server or restrict access for servers or users that violate these terms or Discord's policies. No prior notice is required.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated at any time. Significant changes will be announced in the Genesis Discord community. Continued use of Genesis after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
Genesis is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that Genesis will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific features will remain available. Use Genesis at your own risk.
Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Genesis shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Israel.
